I believe you and I are &quot;on the same wavelength.&quot; Government should be small and serve its originally intended purposes. Socialism seems to be fully ingrained in New York. I don&#039;t think you (or I) are raging right wingers at all. I think we&#039;re clear-thinking and logical. As you&#039;ll notice in my most recent post (dated 12/13), the other side can&#039;t defend their positions--so they resort to name-calling and personal slanders.

I too have felt your despair! Seems like we are so outnumbered by the socialists/leftists that all hope is lost. But...chin up! I&#039;m trying to provide one outpost where clear thinking and truth are spoken. There are others around here too (see The Catskill Commentator and The Monday Nut). I will NOT let the leftists have the media all to themselves.

		<description>Jim - I&#039;m going to have to read your blog more regularly.  I used to post very frequently on PSB, but I tired of it after a while.  It seemed like I was spitting into the wind.  Many of us know what has to happen, but we are outnumbered by the liberals who want to continue and advance the socialist agenda.

I don&#039;t want to sound too much like a raging right winger, but maybe I am.  I just want a place where I can live my life, work hard, and be left alone.  I don&#039;t want someone else taking the vast majority of what I work hard to earn, and redistributing it to people who they think are more deserving than me.  
I&#039;m perfectly capable of doing this myself, and I do, to a much larger extent than anyone knows.  And that&#039;s the way it&#039;s supposed to be. 

The recent STAR &quot;Tax Rebate&quot; enraged me.  It was blatent Marxism, veiled in no way.  It was a simple redistribution of wealth, and it HAS to be illegal.  
Do these words sound familiar?? -- &quot;That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.&quot;</description>
