Support Chris Kuzel’s Drive for Term Limits on County Legislators

A bit of happy news reported by Newschannel34:
A push to limit Broome County legislators to a total of 8 years in office was shot down 4 years ago. But legislator Chris Kuzel is taking another run at it.
“The voters in Broome County should be able to decide whether they want it applied to county legislators. I think that’s the main focus, not whether or not term limits are good or bad, just that citizens of Broome County have not been able to vote on this and they have that right on whether or not they want term limits. If it’s voted down, it should never be brought up again.”
Term limits already apply to members of the Binghamton City Council.
Thank the good Lord that the Citizen Action Council (formerly known as Binghamton City Council) is term limited, along with the mayor. Let’s support Chris Kuzel — a REPUPLICAN — in his bid to let “we the people” vote on term limiting the socialists inhabiting our county government.
Go Chris!
UPDATE: May 12 - The County Administration Committee voted this resolution down 3-2. How sad. When the committee members are divulged in a copy of the minutes I will post the names of those who voted against the measure and should be voted out of office at the next election cycle.
