New York Marxist/Citizen Action Meeting Continues

And the beat goes on. Citizen Action, a Marxist organization, is in town meeting this weekend. People who read my words deriding Citizen Action may write me off as being hyperbolic, but I tell you the truth when I say these people are died-in-the-wool Marxists/Socialists. I am accurately using those terms because that is clearly what they are! They may bridle at such labels, but truth is truth and we need to accurately use language so people will know the truth about who and what these people are.
A few definitions are in order. Marxism is a political philosophy first advocated by Karl Marx (pictured at the right) in the mid-1800s. Marx wanted to centralize control of society into the hands of the State and do away with many (most?) personal freedoms. He thought that those “with money” oppressed those without. His answer? Take money (and power) away from those who have it and give it to those who don’t. That is, he advocated state-sponsored theft. (By the way, Marxism is heavily rooted in atheism, which has no ultimate moral code except that established by the State.)
The Soviet Union was the crowning achievement of Marxist philosophy–a regime that resulted in the murder of millions and the almost total elimination of freedom for its citizens. It was a complete and total failure–a bankrupt philosophy. You would think we might learn from history–but we don’t.
Communism is, among other things, a forceful government takeover to implement Marxism by means of revolution and revolt–as was done in Russia leading to the establishment of the Soviet Union. The sad truth is, Marxists in our country today don’t need a bloody revolution–it’s happening quietly, using our own freedoms against us to eliminate those very same freedoms.
Case in point. The Press & Sun-Bulletin quotes a supposed Republican attending these Marxist/Citizen Action meetings, a 58-year old “former Broome County legislator” by the name of Chris Burger:
He said one of Citizen Action’s major goals is developing a “fair tax plan” to close the gap on the “unhealthy” disparity between the rich and poor. He said some conservatives argue that money is equivalent to free speech and should be virtually unchecked.
“If you follow that logic through, some people have a lot more free speech than others,” said Burger, a former county legislator.
Translation: We’re going to tax people who “make too much money” (as defined by Citizen Action) to fund our socialist shemes, give it to “the poor” (who will keep voting us into office) in order to achieve our idea of “equality” between “the classes.” And in the process, we’ll shut up those conservatives who don’t believe in State-sponsored theft.
Did you know that in the Communist Manifesto, written by Karl Marx in 1848, one of the ten planks is “a heavy or progressive graduated income tax”? That Marx railed against those who “made too much money”? That another of the ten planks is “centralization of communication and transport in the hands of the State”? If you can tax citizens into silence, would that not be the same as centralizing control of communication and speech? Scary. If you compare the literature from Citizen Action and the Communist Manifesto, you would have a hard time telling the difference between the two.
Some of the Citizen Action people likely don’t even know their Marxists. Some clearly do know as they learned it in college and now want to spread this cancerous philosophy to the entire population.
Citizen Action is a group who advocates legalized theft. They want the State to take away YOUR money so THEY can give it to people who will keep them in power. The longer they’re in power, the more freedoms and the more money we lose. It’s a pretty simple equation.
Get rid of these Marxists at every election before our country and our freedoms are gone–PLEASE!
