I once wrote about Rossie on some local blog, which praised his writings and style but didn't like his tone.

AT that time I compared his work to polishing a turd -- you get a nice shine, but underneath it'
s still a turd.

Garbage In = Garbage Out.

Rossie, like Tom Grace and Cary Brunswick from The Daily Star, are ccandidates for the Rubber Room in the Crowbar HHotel.

Well put Brent! You're a pro in my book any day. :) Rossie not only crossed the line on this one, he left the solar system--and he needs to be called out on it. I'm tired of his brand of bigotry.

Hope you're doing well.

Comments on the PSB site were quite brutal this morning. Funny how the liberals are always so quick to judge comments by others and then assign a name to the commenter. The other thing that bugs me is that someone called David Rossie a "professional journalist." He is no such thing. He is a professional "commentator" or "blowhard" if you prefer. Rossie has complained mightily about how President Bush has eviscerated the English language through loose definitions and improper usage. Yet, Rossie does the same thing to make his points. So, who is the true eviscerator of the language? Someone who errs from time to time, or someone who purposely twists words and bandies points about to ensure his opinion gets heard? I'm sure he has no problem with being called a "journalist" and neither does Chris Matthews or Keith Olbermann. A professional would make the distinction, and so should everyone else.
