Indoctrination Day in Greater Binghamton

Let the indoctrination begin! Tuesday is not only Inauguration Day, it’s Indoctrination Day for all good little comrades in Greater Binghamton as we install FDR2, the man who will attempt to cement America as a socialist state. One of the main reasons such a travesty is happening (that a socialist is being inaugurated as President) is the pathetic state of our education system, which doesn’t teach anymore, but indoctrinates. No surprise that Tuesday is a great opportunity to advance the socialist cause. A few excerpts from “Teaching Obama in the Tier” (Press & Sun-Bulletin, Jan. 18) about school activities around Broome County this coming Tuesday:
First comes the “Obama is Lincoln” lesson:
Across the Southern Tier, teachers are using the inauguration of the nation’s first black president as a teaching opportunity.
“It’s absolutely a teachable moment. Not only can you talk about the first African-American president, but you can draw parallels between (Abraham) Lincoln and Obama,” said Rachel Murat, a social studies teacher at Maine-Endwell High School who is leading a contingent of 50 students to the inauguration.
The Obama inauguration is exciting students because it’s “groundbreaking; history is being made,” said Susan Phelps, a social studies teacher at Binghamton High School. Her International Baccalaureate students are doing a lesson to compare and contrast Obama’s inauguration to the one of Abraham Lincoln in 1861.
Next comes the “Watch and Worship” lesson:
At Maine-Endwell’s Homer Brink Elementary School, Molly Goosman’s fifth-grade class will watch Obama take the oath on a SMART Board in their classroom. Prior to that, students will display posters and other props they made during their project on the presidents.

At Harpursville High School, all students in grades 9-12 will watch the inauguration via the Broome-Tioga BOCES Distance Learning Network on a large screen in the auditorium. Teachers Caroline Thomas and Kim Rusnak organized the event.
“We’ve never done anything quite like this,” said Patricia Dalpiaz, coordinator of technology and library services for the Harpursville Central School District.

The entire student body at Hillel Academy, a private Jewish day school in Vestal, will also watch the inauguration. The viewing will be the culmination of several activities at the school related to the election, said Karen Mitrowitz, a social studies teacher at the school.
Finally, we have the “Holy Pilgrimage to Mecca” lesson:
Other student groups going to Washington include a contingent of 40 Advanced Placement students from Susquehanna Valley High School. “This is an historic moment, and it’s great to participate,” said Gina Rachmaninoff, a social studies teacher at the school.
Yes, I know it’s “historic” and all that rot. But what if a child of conservative persuasion asks to be excused from Obama worship for the day? A big, fat F would that poor child’s grade.

It would be funny if not so sad and pathetic.
I am a teacher and there is NO WAY I would use Barack Hussein Obama as a ‘role model’ to my kids.
What would I tell them?
To look up to a man whose aunt is an illegal alien, living in poverty in Boston, USA while he lives in a $4M mansion?
To look up to a man whose brother is a two-bit dictator in Africa who ‘necklaces’ people (puts burning tires around their necks). His brother recently kidnapped an American Reporter in Africa!
To look up to a man whose main supporters are either in jail, (Rezko) were terrorists who bombed the pentagon and killed people and are not sorry they did it (Ayers and Dohrn) or are currently going to be sent to the slammer for abusing their power (Blagojevich)?
To look up to a man who belonged to a black supremacist church where the pastor railed against white people and America but says he didn’t notice after 20 years?
To look up to a man who once belonged to the socialist party (New Party) of the USA and ran on the ticket as that as late as 1996, never won an election, but litigated his opponents off the ballot?
To look up to a man who had thugs threatening anyone who spoke the truth about him or exposed his sordid background during the campaign?
To look up to a man who voted to kill babies that survived an abortion?
To look up to a man who admittedly smoked pot and crack and has been accused of using male prostitutes as recently as 1999? He still smokes cigarettes as well.
To look up to a man who with his wife, worked as a ‘community organizer’ that did not advise young people to try to succeed and make something of themselves in life, but to get into government and steal from other people as much as they could!???
To look up to a man who has made 510 campaign promises he can’t keep, stating that only government knows best, in such a manner that he sounds like he wants to be ruler of the world? Some poor people actually were fooled into thinking he was going to pay their rent, car payments and food bills. What a horrible thing to do!
To look up to a man who went to Germany and asserted that he would form an ‘ARMED civilian national security force’ in the manner of the Hitler Youth?
To look up to a man who thinks we have 57 states in the USA, likely confusing this with his Muslim religious education, whereby there are 57 MUSLIM states?
HOW IN HELL are we supposed to be ‘PROUD’ of this piece o’crap?
Teachers would best keep their mouths SHUT on politics, as they have no right to brainwash our kids with this communism! Role models should be those who advocate for the US Constitution and Freedom, not for one-world socialist totalitarianism under the rule of the international bankers for whom this criminal ‘Obama’ (if that’s his real name since he’s used so many aliases in his lifetime) is working!

Thanks for you comments. A few of the things in your list are new to me, and I can’t vouch for everyone one of them. But you’ve given us a good laundry list of things the mainstream media intentionally overlooks. And don’t forget Obama himself may well have been born in Kenya, not Hawaii. He’s never produced an original copy of his birth certificate, even though sued by the former Assistant Attorney General from Pennsylvania (a Democrat).

First poster is a teacher huh? Well isn’t that just the scariest thing I’ve heard in a long time. I guess my kids will be getting a nice objective lesson in history and the (whether you like it or not) historical year we’ve had.
I for one will teach my kids the lesson of objectivity and the fact that although teachers seem to have their student’s best interest at mind, some of them are just too biased to listen to.
Serious question here: What school do you teach at?
