End of season for indoor soccer
By Jim Willis on Apr 28, 2007 in Sports | Printable Version
We spent a good part of the day watching indoor soccer at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex (the largest free-standing inflatable dome in North America!). For those of you who know our family, you know we spend a LOT of time going to soccer games. With three youngins all playing, there are some weekends we attend five games! Today was the end of the season. The kids’ school, CBCA, hosted their yearly Tim Yocum Soccer Tournament, named for a beloved former PE teacher. I have to say, it was a heart-breaker. Both our boys and girls teams made it all the way to finals, only to lose. They played hard all day long. Congrats to all the kids who turned up and played their guts out.
How about you? For all those soccer moms & dads, or players, are you happy or sad that the season has ended? Let me know in the comments.
