Just to give New Yorkers a “push” toward the socialized health care being offered by our new Lord and Savior, the Annointed One, the Messiah, Barack…along comes so-called “reporting” from Gannett that New York’s budget is about to crash and burn due to Medicaid. Well duh! I, among many others, have been sounding the alarm for a long time! The truth in this case (that Medicaid in New York is about to break us) is only trotted out by the left when it suits their agenda–that agenda being socialized medicine being forced down the throats of the entire U.S.

A recent article in the Press & Sun-Bulletin by Gannett reporter Brian Tumulty, titled “<a href="http://www.pressconnects.com/article/20091001/NEWS01/910010368/1006/"title="Press & Sun-Bulletin - Reports predict N.Y. financial crisis from health care" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.pressconnects.com');">Reports predict N.Y. financial crisis from health care,” starts this way:

New York’s Medicaid program will experience a financial crisis if Congress doesn’t enact health care legislation, according to two studies released this week.

Ten years from now, state officials could face a 93 percent rise in the cost of providing Medicaid services to adults and related health services to children from low-income families, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Urban Institute predict in one report. That report says the average New Yorker could be spending 55 percent more for health services in 10 years.

“It’s a very dire picture, a very bleak picture without health reform,” said Dr. John Lumpkin, director of the health care group at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Princeton, N.J. “There’s a lot of discussion in Washington about the various options. What’s not being discussed is that doing nothing is the worst possible option.”

Without our Savior’s health reform plan, all is lost. There is no hope. Woe is me. BUNKUM.

Nowhere in the article does it chronicle how New York has THE most generous Medicaid benefits in the entire country. Most states do not cover every hang nail under Medicaid–but New York does! No where does the article chronicle the cost per capita that New York pays, which in 2006 was $2,316 for every man, woman and child in our entire state (some $44 Billion)! Compare that to California which spent $939 per person and Texas which spent $771 per person on Medicaid in 2006–both of those states have larger populations than New York. Do you see how out of whack New York’s Medicaid program is?

And do you see the shameless shilling the mainstream media performs for the socialist Obama agenda in our country? The media intentionally misleads, leaves out facts and otherwise bends the truth. Shame on Gannett, and shame on the P&SB for running a yellow journalistic article.

Medicaid is bankrupting us–on that no one disagrees. The answer? Decrease Medicaid benefits and the services offered under the program, and do it now. We could freeze Medicaid benefits in New York at half the level we have now without denying basic services or killing anyone, and instantly solve the New York budget crisis with that single act. Who will be “man” enough to do it? Certainly no one in Albany. Don’t fall for the “health care bill will magically solve New York’s Medicaid problem” scare tactics being peddaled by the left.

And may I point out the obvious with regard to the health care plan being offered by His Magnificence? Medicaid IS socialized medicine–it is health care provided to people who don’t pay for it from people (taxpayers) who do. Medicaid is a small preview of what a nationalized system would look like. And Medicaid costs, according to the article mentioned above, are spiraling out of control with no end in sight. What, pray tell, is the difference between what will happen under nationalized/socialized health care and Medicaid? Answer: There is no difference. Conclusion: Either the tax burden will become so extreme in this country we’ll have to repeal certain rights, like free speech (because of concerns of an uprising by the citizens), or health care will be rationed. Perhaps both will happen if this horrible plan is enacted.

Medicaid itself is the best argument against the lunacy Congress is attempting to pass by using parliamentary tricks and deceit. Don’t stand for it. Burn up the lines to your Senators and Congresspeople to let them know WE DON’T WANT OBAMACARE.

On Friday, President Barak Hussein Obama (affectionately called by his middle name “Hussein” on this blog, in honor of the leftists who used to call George W Bush “Dubya”), laid it out plain and simple. He wants to take money from people who produce, who work their rear-ends off, and give it to people who don’t. That is, he wants to buy votes and set up the Democrat Party as the default ruling class for a generation.

In a meeting at The White House about Hussein’s 1 TRILLION dollar “stimulus” plan, Congressman Eric Cantor (R-Va.) objected to the president’s proposal to increase benefits for low-income workers who don’t owe federal income taxes. That is, Mr. Cantor said something like, “Hey, those people didn’t pay federal taxes in the first place, so why are we giving them other people’s money now?” To which Hussein later said, “I won. I will trump you on that.” How bipartisan of the new president, dontcha think?

If that doesn’t lay bare that the new emperor has no clothes, that he is what we have said all along, a SOCIALIST who wants to transfer massive amounts of wealth from producers to deadbeats, I don’t know what does. Where are people’s ethics? Don’t you see you are asking the new administration to forcibly steal money from people that have it, and give it to people who don’t, under the code words of “stimulus” and “rebate”? You didn’t pay that money to the government in the first place, but now you want money from the government? Get real!

This is where it ends: People will figure this out sooner or later and the producers will quite producing and start taking because they will view the situation as unjust. And when enough producers quite producing, when there are more people “in the wagon” than there are “pulling the wagon” our great republic and its unique place in the world will end. We’re on that road now and soon it will be too late to turn back.

Oppose the stimulus bill. Oppose Hussein. Take back your country before it’s too late.

Yes, I’ve chosen to refer to our new president by his middle name, as the leftists used to refer to George W Bush as “Dubya”. Fitting, don’t you think?

I have lots of thoughts, but will limit them in the interest of civility. Speaking of which, I must have heard at least a thousand times in the past week that, “It’s time to be civil, to be unified, to come together as a country behind our new president.” And the people saying it the loudest are the ones who have viciously, endlessly, ceaselessly vilified President Bush since Day One of his inauguration. They are the ones who have tried to impeach him from Day One. They are the ones who have written fantasies of killing him. They are the ones who tried to sully his reputation in protecting our country by equating him with leaders like Hitler, accusing him of being a fascist and stripping away our rights. They inhabit blogs like the Huffington Post and Daily Koz. You know who you are. And first and foremost, you’re hypocrites to now call for “civility” and “unity.” When pigs fly.

As for the ceremony itself, I thought Hussein’s speech said precisely nothing about nothing for 25 minutes. And he’s the best person I’ve ever heard at doing that! No doubt his elite Hollywood friends (who arrived on hundreds of private jets) have given him good acting lessons. As for Elizabeth Alexander’s inauguration day poem, “Praise Song for the Day”, I thought it sounded like she was reading from the phone book–or not. And as for the good Rev. Joseph Lowery’s benediction prayer which included the line, “and when white will embrace what is right,” I thought it fitting that a racist spewing racist comments capped off the “stick it to you” tone of the day. I’m sure glad that Hussein is the post-racial president and this election wasn’t about race, aren’t you?

“Well Jim, you seem a bit hostile today about the whole thing.” Yes, I have to admit I am grumpy. Grumpy that our great country and (at least some of) it’s great people are heading right down the ole toilet and Hussein is the riverboat captain who’s taking us there. Socialism never works. It didn’t work when FDR tried it. It didn’t work when Jimmy Carter tried it. It hasn’t worked in countless other countries, and it won’t work here. We’re about to embark on a voyage down to depths we haven’t visited in a long time, and I’m not looking forward to the ride.

Welcome to the Obamanation.

Let the indoctrination begin! Tuesday is not only Inauguration Day, it’s Indoctrination Day for all good little comrades in Greater Binghamton as we install FDR2, the man who will attempt to cement America as a socialist state. One of the main reasons such a travesty is happening (that a socialist is being inaugurated as President) is the pathetic state of our education system, which doesn’t teach anymore, but indoctrinates. No surprise that Tuesday is a great opportunity to advance the socialist cause. A few excerpts from “<a href="http://www.pressconnects.com/article/20090118/OBAMAINAUGURATION10/901180353/1006/"title="Press & Sun-Bulletin: Teaching Obama in the Tier" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.pressconnects.com');">Teaching Obama in the Tier” (Press & Sun-Bulletin, Jan. 18) about school activities around Broome County this coming Tuesday:

First comes the “Obama is Lincoln” lesson:

Across the Southern Tier, teachers are using the inauguration of the nation’s first black president as a teaching opportunity.

“It’s absolutely a teachable moment. Not only can you talk about the first African-American president, but you can draw parallels between (Abraham) Lincoln and Obama,” said Rachel Murat, a social studies teacher at Maine-Endwell High School who is leading a contingent of 50 students to the inauguration.

The Obama inauguration is exciting students because it’s “groundbreaking; history is being made,” said Susan Phelps, a social studies teacher at Binghamton High School. Her International Baccalaureate students are doing a lesson to compare and contrast Obama’s inauguration to the one of Abraham Lincoln in 1861.

Next comes the “Watch and Worship” lesson:

At Maine-Endwell’s Homer Brink Elementary School, Molly Goosman’s fifth-grade class will watch Obama take the oath on a SMART Board in their classroom. Prior to that, students will display posters and other props they made during their project on the presidents.

…

At Harpursville High School, all students in grades 9-12 will watch the inauguration via the Broome-Tioga BOCES Distance Learning Network on a large screen in the auditorium. Teachers Caroline Thomas and Kim Rusnak organized the event.

“We’ve never done anything quite like this,” said Patricia Dalpiaz, coordinator of technology and library services for the Harpursville Central School District.

…

The entire student body at Hillel Academy, a private Jewish day school in Vestal, will also watch the inauguration. The viewing will be the culmination of several activities at the school related to the election, said Karen Mitrowitz, a social studies teacher at the school.

Finally, we have the “Holy Pilgrimage to Mecca” lesson:

Other student groups going to Washington include a contingent of 40 Advanced Placement students from Susquehanna Valley High School. “This is an historic moment, and it’s great to participate,” said Gina Rachmaninoff, a social studies teacher at the school.

Yes, I know it’s “historic” and all that rot. But what if a child of conservative persuasion asks to be excused from Obama worship for the day? A big, fat F would that poor child’s grade.

Welcome, little comrades, to your indoctrination to the Obamanation.
