So what really happened last Tuesday? Why did just more than half of the country decide to elect a hard-left socialist as it’s president, a gaffe-prone comedian as vice president, and a dysfunctional Congress filled with nut jobs and borderline Communists? In short, because of selfishness. My neighbors voted for Obama and the Democrats because of what they perceive they will get. They perceive that Obama will “take from the rich” and give it to them. Almost half of the country is now on welfare and they have the right to vote (which in my opinion should be illegal–you’re on the dole, you can’t vote to stay on the dole). So they voted to redefine what is immoral, unethical and wrong, into a virtue: Put the gun of state to the heads of the producing half of the country and force them to “spread their wealth” with the other half who are not producing. That is, they voted for government sanctioned theft. Sweat deal eh?

The so-called “have nots” have voted to steal from the “haves.” Instead of working hard and striving, spending your life pursuing a dream and realizing the success (or lack thereof) from your efforts, you can now just steal it from your neighbor. Since most Obama voters don’t understand history, they don’t understand it will last but a short time before “the government” will not only redistribute wealth, they will eliminate liberty along the way to being the all-caring nanny state the citizenry so desperately wants. It makes no difference that I point this out, because they don’t care, and by the time they do care it will be too late. Already it has begun. Do you have a 401(k)? Kiss your money goodbye–the Obama government is going to steal it and share it with everyone else by dumping it into the Social Security black hole. Have money invested in the stock market? If you make a profit, more of your profits will be forcibly taken by the Obama government to fund their giveaways to non-producers. Disagree with Lord Barack, the Messiah, the Anointed One? Here comes the “Fairness Doctrine” which will gut the First Amendment of the Constitution (the right of free speech and dissent). Hey, you voted for this, I sure didn’t!

Here’s some brillant analysis from an article on National Review Online written by Mark Steyn, called <a href="http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=ZDcxYWNiZTVkNjZkY2I1YmUyMjQzNzc4Y2FjNzI4MjA="title="National Review Online - The Death of the American Idea" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/article.nationalreview.com');">The Death of the American Idea. It succinctly outlines the superiority of capitalism and self-determination versus socialism and big government:

I don’t need Barack Obama’s help to “spread the wealth around.” I spread my wealth around every time I hire somebody, expand my business, or just go to the general store and buy a quart of milk and loaf of bread. As far as I know, only one bloated plutocrat declines to spread his wealth around, and that’s Scrooge McDuck, whose principal activity in Disney cartoons was getting into his little bulldozer and plowing back and forth over a mountain of warehoused gold and silver coins. Don’t know where he is these days. On the board at Halliburton, no doubt. But most of the beleaguered band of American capitalists do not warehouse their wealth in McDuck fashion. It’s not a choice between hoarding and spreading, but a choice between who spreads it best: an individual free to make his own decisions about investment and spending, or Barney Frank. I don’t find that a difficult question to answer. More to the point, put Barney & Co in charge of the spreading, and there’ll be a lot less to spread.

I disagree with my fellow conservatives who think the Obama-Pelosi-Reid-Frank liberal behemoth will so obviously screw up that they’ll be routed in two or four years’ time. The President-elect’s so-called “tax cut” will absolve 48 per cent of Americans from paying any federal income tax at all, while those that are left will pay more. Just under half the population will be, as Daniel Henninger pointed out in the Wall Street Journal, on the dole. By 2012, it will be more than half, and this will be an electorate where the majority of the electorate will be able to vote itself more lollipops from the minority of their compatriots still dumb enough to prioritize self-reliance, dynamism, and innovation over the sedating cocoon of the nanny state. That is the death of the American idea — which, after all, began as an economic argument: “No taxation without representation” is a great rallying cry. “No representation without taxation” has less mass appeal. For how do you tell an electorate living high off the entitlement hog that it’s unsustainable and you’ve got to give some of it back?

I recommend you read the entire article. It’s short and insightful.

We now head into the long, dark night. I believe history will look back at this election and say it was the year America’s freedom and liberty, along with its unique identity and special place in the world, died.

I would once again point you to that blog, and in particular, to the article <a href="http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/11/gop_defeat_and_the_new_tone.html"title="GOP Defeat and the 'New Tone'" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.americanthinker.com');">GOP Defeat and the ‘New Tone’. If you can spare 15 minutes, go and read it. It’s an excellent take on how we got to where we are today, why we lost, and what to do now. It also makes the case that “partisan” is not an ugly word.

The article summarizes thus:

Conservatism did not lose last night, as it was not on the ballot. The big winner was ignorance and the biggest loser was the Bush-Rove-McCain brand of watered down Republicanism. Yes, the Bush-Rove-McCain brand. They gave us each other. Much as the two men cannot stand each other, they are ironically much the same. And the result is indeed a new tone in Washington, and it is a scary dreary leftist tone.

We will never beat it back until the watered down bi-partisans are flushed from the system. Thomas Jefferson loved partisanship. Hugo Chavez does not. That should tell us all we need to know about this flawed path our party has been on for many years. Tuesday, our aisle reaching chickens came home to roost.

We will hear from the nonstop Obamamedia (CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, Air America, Democrat National Committee, et al) that it’s “time to come in line” and Obama has “received a mandate” and “stop being obstructionists.” No sir. That argument does not work and will not work. It is our proud American tradition to keep the other side honest–which will be a tall order for the next few years with a movement that is pathologically dishonest. We don’t live in a dictatorship–yet. We still have rights–for now–including free speech. We will need to exercise our rights to retain them and to protect against the coming socialist tsunami.

Stand proud and stand tall. We’re still Americans, we’re still fiesty, and (politically) we’ll fight the socialists tooth and nail, every inch of the way. It’s our right, it’s our privilege, and it’s our DUTY.

Today is election day. The stakes really cannot be any higher. I believe the future of our country–and it’s founding document, the Constitution–lies in the outcome of this election.

I believe very tough times are ahead for all Americans if Obama wins and the Democrats consolidate their power in the both houses of Congress. Our country has withstood many ineffective leaders (Jimmy Carter being a prime example), but our country cannot withstand an all-out assault on the Constitution by a single political party that achieves total power in our federal government. The Constitution is not some archaic, outdated document written for another time and another culture. It is as timely and relevant today as it was the day it was ratified more than 200 years ago. Why? Because human nature and the human heart do not change.

The Constitution is primarily a leash that keeps those who have political power from going too far. Obama’s stated objective is to change that. He seeks to change the very nature and character of our country by gutting the Constitution. Make no mistake about it–he will do everything in his power to change it rather than uphold it, if he is elected. That’s what really scares me about the thought of an Obama presidency and a veto-proof majority in the Senate. Unchecked power by immoral, unethical, power-mad people like Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. It’s like an ongoing horror picture/nightmare you never wake up from. This unholy trinity will aim the gun of the government at your head and force you to pay your hard-earned money to them so they can give it to people who will elect them and re-elect them time and again. Wake up!

You really think you’ll be getting a tax break from Democrats! I 100% guarantee you that will not happen. If your household makes $40K a year or more, you’re taxes will go up, and if they haven’t shut down this blog by then (a distrinct possibility under Democrat-controlled government), I’ll be back to say “I told you so.” Take it to the bank–your taxes will go up.

I pray that today our country pulls back from the brink of disaster. It is VITAL that you get out and vote. PLEASE do not think it is over or that your vote does not make a difference. I know that my vote for McCain today, in New York, will be canceled out by several others who will vote for the socialist Obama. There’s no chance McCain will take New York. BUT, there are lots of local races, like the race for my local congressman (the horrible Maurice Hinchey) that we need to vote in. Your vote does count!

And whatever comes today, don’t give up hope. If the socialist Democrats sieze power, it will be a sad day. But we will fight them tooth and nail every inch of the way to protect our freedoms, including freedom of speech and freedom of the press (which will be the first things they go after, mark my words). Don’t give up! Fight them! Vote!!!

Or was it taken by an Obama socialist? You decide.

Tuesday around these parts it was massively windy. I kept looking out my office window, which overlooks my front yard, to keep an eye on my McCain-Palin sign. It’s one of those plastic deals, kind of like a heavy garbage bag, stretched over a wire frame. There are two wire “feet” that poke into the ground. My fear was that the wind would take the sign. As I watched, I saw that little sign nearly bend over to the ground–but it never came out. I’ve checked the National Weather Service’s official records and they report on Tuesday the highest sustained wind speed was 25 miles per hour, with the highest gusts up to 35 mph. Pretty stiff wind! But the sign held.

On Wednesday morning as I walked the dog, I stopped to pull the sign out and re-stick it so it stood tall and straight, and was re-anchored in the ground. Good as new and the wires were plunged into the ground as deep or deeper than before–new holes to be sure it was solid. The winds of Wednesday were quite a bit less than Tuesday with sustained speeds of 21 mph and the highest gust recorded at 26 mph. So the highest gust on Wednesday was only 1 mph more than sustained speeds on Tuesday. I watched the sign and although it swayed a little, it held fast.

Thursday morning when I took the boys to the bus stop, I didn’t notice anything unusual. But by mid-day, I looked and the sign was gone. Poof. Into thin air. I don’t know if it happened overnight Wednesday and I didn’t notice it until mid-day Thursday, or if it happened while I was taking the boys to the bus stop. Just not sure.

I went outside and searched high and low, thinking the wind must have taken it and it would be caught in the nearby treeline, about 50 feet away. Nothing. And it’s a pretty heavy treeline with lots of brush. I checked my (and my neighbor’s) back yards. Nothing. Across the street in case the wind direction had changed. Nothing. The neighbor’s back yard on the opposite side of where the wind was blowing. Nothing. The sign is just gone.

Then I saw a report on Fox News of McCain-Palin signs being taken in other states–especially around Chicago. Some of the filth doing it were caught on video. Makes me wonder…

What do you think? Is your sign still standing? Heard of any disappearing signs? Maybe the socialist slime all around me has finally driven me over the edge? Leave me a comment.

Oh, and here’s just one example of a loser stealing a McCain sign. Enjoy the video!

I feel it necessary to provide the proper context to understand the yellow journalism media we currently have to suffer through these final few weeks of the presidential campaign. Here goes…

Colin Powell, former secretary of state for George W. Bush (the presidency the Dems hate) and a Democrat himself who, for a time, called himself a Republican, has endorsed the Communist Barack Hussein Obama as his choice for president. Whoop-de-do. (Yawn) Does that really surprise you? Most in the media are hyperventilating so badly they need to put paper bags over their heads. For me? A non-story. Frankly–it’s no big deal.

Meanwhile, four former secretaries of state have endorsed John McCain: Henry Kissinger (Nixon), George Shultz and Alexander Haig (Reagan), and Lawrence Eagleburger (Bush 41). Do you hear that little tidbit in any of the reporting on this story? No. Why? Because the media lies and covers the truth–constantly. And because Obama desperately needs somebody with credibility on foreign affairs to be mentioned in the same sentence with him–because he and his running mate Joe Biden are dunces on foreign affairs.

Let’s see, Obama–violating his own stated original promise he would only accept public financing–is outspending John McCain three or four to one (thank you George Soros and Hollywood deadbeats). The media dutifully reports every belch emanating from the Obama campaign and ignores the McCain campaign except to manufacture a few gaffes they can report. They’ve crucified Sarah Palin because she’s “too common” for their elitist inside-the-Beltway tastes (she’s part of the hoi polloi, dontcha know), and of course Palin’s a Christian (nasty filthy people, those Christians). And with all that, the race is still within a few points when “likely voters” are polled.

There’s hope yet!

I don’t read local retired Press & Sun-Bulletin associate editor David Rossie’s weekly columns much any more. It’s painful reading someone who has the writing equivalent of Alzheimer’s as the little intelligence he has left evaporates into vapidness. But it’s like an accident–sometimes you can’t look away.

Today’s column in the P&SB is one such column. The pitiful (and I really do pity him) Mr. Rossie equates voting in the manner we have in this country for over 200 years–by secret ballot–with being a member of the Ku Klux Klan. He also implies when you step into the polling booth to pull the lever, if you pull the lever for John McCain, you’ve just proven that you’re a racist. How sad and how far the once great writer has fallen. And how sad that the P&SB keeps running his columns. It shows their ineptitude.

The column, <a href="http://www.pressconnects.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081019/OPINION/810190339/1005/OPINION"title="Press & Sun-Bulletin - Right wing can't abide unconformity" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.pressconnects.com');">Right wing can’t abide unconformity (sic), is about conservatives who take issue with three writers who never were, nor pretended to be, conservative–but who have written more right-leaning than left-leaning columns over the years (Kathleen Parker, David Brooks and Christopher Buckley). Nevertheless, Mr. Rossie needs evidence for the fictions he attempts to spin. So he treats us to three strawman examples. Then for good measure, he proceeds to bash Evangelical Christians, as he does in every third column he writes. Yes, Mr. Rossie is a reliable Christian bigot and has been for years–but that’s OK with the P&SB. Say something about radical Islam and you’re sure to be fired over at the P&SB. But Christians? Always fair game.

After Mr. Rossie huffs and puffs his way to the end of this latest (in his mind brilliant) column, we imagine him raising his hands like Moses over the children of Israel. The crowd becomes silent. And Moses (aka David Rossie) makes his pièce de résistance in the final paragraph:

Meanwhile, Obama supporters are celebrating his rise in the opinion polls, everywhere from nine to 14 percent. But before they uncork the champagne, they should keep in mind that the curtain that closes off the voting booth serves the same purpose as the Klansman’s hood.

Wow! Such brain power. Such keen intellect. “Pull the lever for McCain in secret, and it will give you the same thrill as pulling a white sheet over your head.” Yes, I know he’s saying “secrecy” is the word that applies to both voting and the Klan. But by comparing our constitutional right to vote for whomever we want–in secret–with the odious Ku Klux Klan, he is implying that people who decide against the socialist (I would say Communist) Obama, and who enter the polling booth and throw the lever for John McCain, are bigots. I say, look in the mirror Mr. Rossie. Your own hatred and intolerance are profound.

But the election hasn’t happened yet! Do not give up hope!

If you don’t read the <a href="http://www.americanthinker.com"title="American Thinker" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.americanthinker.com');">American Thinker–start doing it. You will receive your advanced degree in history and come to understand how we got to the point where avowed socialists have taken over Congress, and may soon take over the presidency.

Many may have read the previous sentence and yawned. Or you may have read my previous post and thought, “Nice try Jim. But you’re just being melodramatic by saying a vote for Obama is a vote to hasten the end of democracy in our country.” I’ll respond by saying, did you in your wildest dreams think our government would suddenly nationalize (remove from private ownership) most of our banking industry? That Congress would abdicate its responsibility under the Constitution for spending taxpayer money by handing over a blank check (up to $700 BILLION) to a single, unelected person (Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson)? Are you awake?? Do you know how fundamentally and radically everything is changing around us right now???

Most people do not know or care that Obama is completely socialist in ideology. They think he’s just a little bit further “left” than some others. It DOES matter who formed his political ideology and the people he has associated himself with: Saul Alinsky–who wrote and created the ideology of destroying your political opponents with smears and lies and anyway you can; William Ayers who is a domestic terrorist responsible for a plot to bomb the Pentagon in the 70s; Jeremiah Wright who preaches God Damn America. Do Obama’s buds matter? You bet they matter. Every single one of them a socialist. And so is Obama. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

With respect to history, most people don’t realize that Nazi Germany, the Communist Soviet Union and Communist China all arose from the political left–not the right. They became socialist first, then inevitably descended into tyranny and dictatorship. This stuff starts on the left folks…it starts with statism (the State becoming all powerful). In our country, it is starting (and now well-advanced) with the Democrat Party.

Instead of me ranting about it, read for yourself a few paragraphs from “<a href="http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/10/why_obamas_socialism_matters_1.html"title="American Thinker: Why Obama's socialism matters" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.americanthinker.com');">Why Obama’s socialism matters” in today’s American Thinker:

Once you vest all power in the state, history demonstrates that the state, although technically composed of individuals, in fact takes on a life of its own, with the operating bureaucracy driving it to ever greater extremes of control. Additionally, history demonstrates that, if the wrong person becomes all-powerful in the state, the absence of individualism means that the state becomes a juggernaut, completely in thrall to a psychopath’s ideas. Herewith some examples:

My favorite example is always Nazi Germany because so many people forget that it was a socialist dictatorship. Or perhaps they’re ignorant of the fact that the Nazi’s official and frequently forgotten name was the National Socialist German Worker’s Party. In other words, while most people consider the Nazi party to be a totalitarian ideology arising from the right, it was, in fact, a totalitarian party arising from the left.

Practically within minutes of the Nazi takeover of the German government, individuals were subordinated to the state. Even industries that remained privately owned (and there were many, as opponents of the Nazis = socialist theory like to point out), were allowed to do so only if their owners bent their efforts to the benefit of the state. Show a hint of individualism, and an unwillingness to cooperate, and you’d swiftly find yourself in Dachau, with a government operative sitting in that executive chair you once owned.

We all know what life was like in this Nazi socialist state. Citizens immediately lost the right to bear arms; thought crimes were punished with imprisonment and death; children were indoctrinated into giving their allegiance to the state, not the family; the government dictated the way in which people could live their day-to-day lives; and people who appeared to be outliers to the harmony of the conscienceless government entity (gays, mentally ill-people, physically handicapped people, Jews, gypsies) were dehumanized and eventually slaughtered.

And here’s something important for you to realize as you think about what happened in that socialist state. While a core group of people, Hitler included, undoubtedly envisioned these extremes as their initial goals, most didn’t. They just thought that, after the utter chaos of the 1920s (especially the economic chaos), the socialists would calm the economy (which they did), and simply remove from people the painful obligation of having to make their way in the world. It was only incrementally that the average German bought into the ever-more-extreme demands of the state - and those who didn’t buy in were coerced because of the state’s unfettered willingness to use its vast, brute power to subordinate individuals to its demand.

Did you catch that? The people in 1920s Germany wanted the government to “remove the painful obligation of having to make their way in the world.” Sound familiar? Economic bailout anyone? Can’t pay your mortgage, no problem, Uncle Sam will? Big, bad insurance won’t pay for that operation, no problem, we’ll nationalize health care and you can get it FREE! Once you start down that path, the slippery slope becomes a cliff. I think we’re getting perilously close the the edge.

Please, inform yourself. Learn history. Understand where the threat really comes from against our country. Be a patriot! Stand up to the Democrat Socialist Party.

Begin rant.

I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I would write an article with a headline like the one on this article. I even have a McCain-Palin sign sitting on my front lawn! For many years I’ve considered McCain to be a flake. I still do. He’s bought into the man-made global warming hoax, to the point of mentioning Al Gore as a potential cabinet appointment. He helped manufacture the first breach of the First Amendment in our nation’s history under the guise of “campaign finance reform.” He wants to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. The list goes on.

But McCain, for all of his shortcomings, is FAR preferable to the socialist Barack Hussein Obama. Case in point: In Tuesday night’s second Presidential Debate, Obama flatly said that “health care is a right.” Did you fall out of your chair as I did? A right?? No sir–it’s NOT a right. Rights for citizens are enumerated in our Constitution. There are those recognized as coming from God (and not conferred by the state), like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And there are rights specifically spelled out to prevent citizens from harming other citizens. Most of the Constitution is a leash to keep the federal government in check and prevent a massive central power bureaucracy. The Constitution is there to prevent a single person (like the President) or a small group (like the Congress) from assuming dictatorial powers. The intent is that the government should serve the people, not the other way around.

The Constitution grants you and everyone else the right to be free–to pursue your dreams, which is why the United States is the best country on earth. However, it does not guarantee the outcome of your dreams and pursuits. It only guarantees that you get a shot. If you blow it, that’s your business. It’s not your neighbor’s fault, it’s not the government’s job to pick up your slack–not anyone else. You. You succeed or fail on your own. With the help of family and friends and God (or without).

Nowhere in the Constitution do I see a “right” to health care as guaranteed by the federal government. The founders of our country, and their legacy in the form of the Constitution, specifically prohibit such “rights” from being established. They knew that citizens, if given the opportunity (because of fallen human nature), would vote themselves money from the public treasury. That’s why the founders set up a representative democracy–what we call a republic–and not a straight democracy. We elect people who make the laws and decide how much of, and how, to spend OUR money. There’s meant to be a layer, a speed bump, a firewall between citizens and the public treasury. And the plan was that over time the representatives who make the laws and spend the money would leave government and live under the very laws they had made. When those who we elect ignore the Constitution and pacify enough citizens–essentially “buy them off” with their neighbors’ money through confiscatory taxes, and when those representatives stay in in power for decades–the system breaks down. It becomes unfair. Such is our lot today.

Obama is a raging, lunatic socialist. He speaks well and looks nice–but deep down he has an ax to grind and it’s with America. He wants to massively redistribute wealth. He wants to take YOUR money and decide–for you–how you’ll spend it. How? By huge tax increases in which he will take money from you and your company and give it to other people and other companies–as he and the socialist left deem best.

The latest outrage from the socialist left is the current economic crisis–which is a direct result of the actions of Democrats, including Obama. Think I’m exaggerating? Read this article in The American Thinker: <a href="http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/10/the_crime_of_the_century_the_e_1.html"title="American Thinker: The Crime of the Century: The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008" target="_blank" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outbound/article/www.americanthinker.com');">The Crime of the Century: The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. Please…read it! Although Obama is a late-comer to the table, people who work in his campaign (from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae), along with his fellow Senators and Congressman, including Chuck Shumer, Chris Dodd, and Barney Frank, should all, right now, be sitting in jail. They manufactured this crisis, intentionally. And now the Democrats are profiting from it. They put their own sick and twisted desire for power and money ahead of the good of our country, and now the U.S. and the rest of the world will pay the price with a recession (maybe even a depression) that will last for years. Are you really, really mad about the bailout? Be mad at the Democrats. They caused it!

Let me be crystal clear, in case you’ve missed my point. If you’re voting for Obama, you’re voting to hasten the end of democracy in our country. When these socialists finally seize power across all branches, as they are close to doing, your freedoms will start to disappear. And it will happen quickly. First to go with be the First Amendment. Look for blogs like this one–and radio talk shows–to be ended by introducing and passing the “fairness doctrine” (sponsored and promoted by Congressman Maurice Hinchey). You can also kiss your money goodbye. And socialized medicine will arrive quickly. It will be the end of our country as we’ve known it for more than 200 years.

You must not vote for Obama. Nor Maurice Hinchey. He’s nothing but a factotum for Pelosi and gang–a minion who does her majesty’s bidding. Vote him out! And please, if you pull the lever for Obama (or Hinchey), don’t tell me.

Vote for Obama=vote to end democracy in our country.

It’s official–Barack Hussein Obama is the Democrat nominee for president. Sort of. Maybe. “Presumptive” they call it. That is, he is the nominee if the Clintonoids can’t figure out a way to smear him before or during the convention. Good for the Dems. I wonder if you Dems really know what you’re getting?

There is no legislative history to judge Obama by, unless you count his three years as a U.S. Senator, two of which he’s spent campaigning for president. You do know he has THE most liberal voting record of any U.S. Senator for the past three years, right? You also know his philosophy, his approach to solving “the great issues we face” is Marxist, right? That means his solutions are really big government programs with more and more control of your life by the government–down to the lighbulbs you can use and the temperature of your thermostat.

The end result of Obama’s philosophy? Less and less individual freedom. America was founded as the freest nation on earth–which is one reason why she has been the greatest nation on earth. If Obama wins in November with an all-Democrat Congress, your individual freedoms will change–drastically.

Since we only have a few year’s worth of undistinguished legislative votes by which to judge Mr. Obama, we’re left to look for other ways to evaluate him and give us insight into how he would govern as president. As a church-goer myself, I’m interested in the church he attends, and the kind of messages preached at that church, as a clue to what Obama believes and consequently how he would govern. I’ve checked out the church Mr. Obama has attended for the last 17 years — Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. It is one of the leading churches in the “Black Liberation Theology” movement, which sounds innocent enough, until you find out what that actually means.

Black Liberation Theology essentially says white people have oppressed black people throughout history and that oppression continues today. It also says white people in the U.S. today are beneficiaries of the fruits of slavery. That is, the “things” white people have today, including their possessions and their social standing, their jobs and their money, are a result of ill-gotten gains from oppressing black people for generations–in the past AND today. Bottom line: If you’re white, you don’t deserve what you have. It is a racist philosophy. It is also a Marxist philosophy as much of Black Liberation Theology is aimed at forcibly redistributing wealth from the “haves” (white people) to the “have nots” (black people). Black Liberation Theology is bigotry and Marxism masquerading as Christianity.

Here is what we know: Barack Obama has set under the teaching and preaching of Black Liberation Theology for 17 years, listening and absorbing it like a sponge. You KNOW he did not disagree with it or he would have left Trinity UCC long ago (like his pal Oprah did). Please don’t insult my intelligence by pretending there were “just a few” outrageous statements uttered by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, pastor of Trinity UCC for the past 17 plus years. Rev. Wright is one of the leaders at the center of the Black Liberation Theology movement! Obama’s statements of “I didn’t know” about the extremist views of Wright and Black Liberation Theology are pandering lies that stupid people choose to believe. Hopefully, if you’re reading this, you aren’t stupid.

Need proof of my assertions? Click on the links at the end of this article and read for yourself what has been written by the founders of Black Liberation Theology. And please, click the image below to watch visiting priest Father Michael Pfleger, “a friend of Trinity,” as he speaks from the Trinity pulpit about “white entitlement” and Hillary Clinton. Notice particularly the standing ovation he’s given for his disgusting diatribe. This single clip tells you all you need to know about what Obama has soaked up for the last 17 years. Do you want someone who believes this garbage as your president? I sure don’t.

Obama’s campaign slogan is, “Change We Can Believe In.” I’d say Barack Obama represents “Change We Can Do Without.”
